Ride Safely in 2010

The Shartlesville breakfast for September is cancelled due to the picnic the same day.
We will no longer hold our first Saturday breakfast in Bethlehem. We are moving it to John's Plain and Fancy Diner, 50 South West End Blvd, Quakertown, Pa. Rt 309 just south of Rt 663. This change is effective with the July Breakfast and will continue to be held there.
The second Saturday breakfast is also moving; to temporary locations for the rest of this year. A permamnent location will be announced next year. For October it will be at the Juniata Junction, From route 322 take the Port Royal route 75 exit. Turn right and go to the blinking light. The restaurant is at that intersection on your left. If you are coming from the north Port Royal is one exit past the Mifflintown exit. If you are coming from the south it is one exit before the Mifflintown exit. It doesn't matter which direction you come from, you still turn right after you come off the exit. I hope I have made these directions clear. If you have questions you can email us. The phone number of the restaurant is 717-436-6401 in case you get lost!

We have the flier for the 2011 International Rally posted on the FLIERS page. You may book your roome now.

We now have the Mini Golf Schedule and the Ice Cream Schedule on the EVENTS and FLIERS pages, be sure to come out and join us at one or more near you. There is one more golf night in September and two Ice Cream Socials in Sept aind one in Oct.

If you are enjoying the electronic newsletter and would be willing to stop receiving the paper newsletter please inform me or the Hoots and we will delete you from the paper mailing list. This will save the club money and make the editor’s job easier for the Boetner’s. Do not send your request to the Boetner's, they do not maintain the mailing list. If you want to continue to receive the paper newsletter you don’t have to do anything, no one will be deleted from the list if they do not ask to be. You may resume the paper newsletter at any time, just let us know. You can receive the paper newsletter and still be on the list to be notified when the new newesletter is available on our website just tell us what you want.
In January we sent an email to all members whose email address we have on file announcing the opening of our website. If you have email and did not receive this notice it may be due to an incorrect or missing address in our distibution list. You can help us correct this by sending an email to eastparetreads@live.com and we will make the correction so we can keep you up to date.

The Maryland Retreads picnic is scheduled for Sat Sept 11.
The Eastern PA picnic is scheduled for Sept 18. See EVENTS page for flyers

Are you and your cycle ready to ride? How about taking an MSF course? The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Experienced Rider course is a great refresher and will improve your skills.
What would you like to do this year? This is your club and we want your ideas for activities. We have already received a few new ideas that we are working on and we would be happy to have more. We especially want to hear from the members who live on the fringes of our area. We would like to know what we can do to get all of our members more involved in the club's activities, so please contact us with your ideas.
